Quebec City, Thursday April 27, 2023 - On the eve of its 20th anniversary, Immostar is proud to announce the appointment of four new partners.  

These exceptional individuals and talented professionals have been a part of the Immostar family for many years. Each of them has contributed to our success through their innovative spirit, tremendous creativity, teamwork, integrity, great attention to detail, and professionalism. We are pleased to introduce them to you!  

Émilie Esber
Vice President, Legal Affairs  

Émilie has been working at IMMOSTAR for 10 years. She was called to the Bar in 2011 and has nearly 15 years of real estate experience, working with both real estate professionals [DC1] and developers.

As our VP of legal affairs, Émilie advises our departments on legal matters and leads a variety of complex operations in the real estate sector, including t arranging major financing, acquiring and developing real estate projects, negotiating partnership agreements, and drafting construction contracts. She also provides a full range of services to our managed properties.

Her creativity and know-how will certainly pave the way for innovative projects in the years to come.

Jean-François Gobeil, CPA, MBA
Senior Director, Accounting and Administration 

Jean-François joined Immostar in June 2016. He has more than 10 years of experience in accounting and real estate and is constantly on the go, supervising the production of financial results for the company as well as for projects under development and management, and overseeing taxation and financial planning and analysis.  

His passion is palpable. Ever since he joined Immostar, Jean-François has been committed to the success of our company. He looks at the big picture when making decisions, and we know that he will keep on contributing to the growth of the company and making sure it shines.

Christian Goupil
Vice President, Operations 

Christian joined Immostar as senior director of operations in September 2017. He now oversees all commercial, office, industrial, and multi-residential operations and takes active part in developing the company’s new projects as our current VP of operations.  

Christian has over 30 years of real estate experience and has extensive expertise in all segments of our industry. His strategic vision and broad expertise in our multiple business lines make him a key asset for the company.

Jean-François Poirier
Vice President, Investments and Asset Valuation   

Jean-François has been a member of the Immostar team for 15 years He has held various positions since his arrival in 2009, including controller, director of building management, director of investment, and now VP of investment and asset valuation, accumulating in the process a vast knowledge of the field.  

Jean-François is involved in the initial analysis of an opportunity before an operation even begins. His duties include providing financial analyses, monitoring construction budgets, and managing financing. He mirrors the company's bold approach and we trust each and every one of his decisions.
