Québec City, September 23, 2026 – Immostar marks a new chapter in its history with the appointment of François Pelchat and Kevin Lachance as Co-Presidents. Already instrumental in the success of the company, which now holds more than $1 billion in assets, they will ensure the long-term continuity of a well-established real estate firm with a presence across several regions of Québec. The company was founded nearly 25 years ago by André Pelchat.
“I have had the privilege of watching François and Kevin grow within Immostar, develop as leaders, become shareholders and play an increasingly important role in the company’s success. It is with tremendous confidence and pride that I hand over the leadership of a company built on solid foundations. I remain fully involved as Chair of the Board and strategic advisor to support them,” says André Pelchat, founder of Immostar.
Complementary Strengths, a Shared Vision for the Future
Immostar’s co-presidency model builds on complementary strengths. François Pelchat brings an entrepreneurial vision to real estate development and a strong ability to forge partnerships. Kevin Lachance brings recognized expertise in financial strategy, investment and corporate structuring. Together, they form an established leadership team ready to take the company to the next level.
“I am honoured to take on this new role, which holds special meaning for me. André is Immostar’s founder, but he is also my uncle and the partner with whom I have had the privilege of building the company for more than thirteen years. I am very proud of what we have accomplished together and, above all, excited about what lies ahead. We have an exceptional team, a high-performing organization and the ambition to take Immostar much further,” says François Pelchat, Co-President of Immostar.
“This transition represents both an immense vote of confidence and a significant responsibility. André built a company with a vision, values and an approach that have set it apart. Building on that legacy, we are moving forward with ambition and conviction. Our complementary strengths, the quality of our partners and the strength of the organization give us the foundation to continue growing the company,” adds Kevin Lachance, Co-President of Immostar.
A New Phase of Growth
This leadership transition comes during one of the most dynamic periods in Immostar’s history. Today, the company develops and manages a diversified portfolio representing more than $1 billion in real estate assets across Québec. Under the co-presidency of François and Kevin, Immostar intends to accelerate its growth by building on its core strengths: real estate development, investment, partnership building, asset management and property management, while continuing to explore new avenues for growth.
Several initiatives will support this next phase, including the development of Carrefour industriel IQC, located south of Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport, and the launch of the company’s second real estate investment fund. These major undertakings will move forward alongside new residential projects and the expansion of Immostar’s commercial property management operations.
The two Co-Presidents also aim to put more of Immostar’s expertise and capacity to deliver at the service of projects that create a tangible, lasting impact in communities. This commitment is reflected in the company’s involvement in Fondation Habiter, which is dedicated to developing affordable housing, as well as in the Ya’ndiyahta’ alliance, established with the Wendat Nation to develop new real estate projects.
